Re: other games
Man, that was annoying. I couldn't sleep this morning, so I started watching the ESPN replay of the VT/ECU game. I watch a couple field goals and a bunch of three and outs. Not too exciting. They go to commercial at 6:00 or so in the 2nd quarter with the Hokies ahead 6-0. Then they announce that for time reasons, they're gonna skip ahead. Okay, fine. They come back with 1:29 to go in the half and the Hokies up 13-0. What the hell?! They SKIPPED a touchdown? Probably the most exciting play and/or drive of the half? I watched ten three and outs and miss a touchdown? What's wrong with friggin' ESPN? That pisses me off.
Oh, and they're having Lou Holtz call the game. His son is coaching the Pirates. Is that normal procedure? I can't blame the guy for having ZERO objectivity. He's actually not doing too bad at this point, but we'll see if it's close at the end.

Re: other games
Holtz calls those games whether his son is coaching or not, it was just coincidence. It wasn't much of a game, but it could have been. ECU did everything possible to shoot themselves in the foot. They had tons of penalties and a couple of unforced turnovers. VT didn't look that great, but were able to capitalize on the Pirates acts of kindness.

Re: other games
At least they bothered to review their TD. Our refs wouldn't be hassled with such trivial matters.devildeac wrote:F#%$ing acc officials...CameronBornAndBred wrote:We listened..even Woody and co. were saying that's what the call should be/ would be.
