Today, I'll be in Graham, Hillsborough, Greensboro and back to greater Walkertown for another adventure to only God knows where.

To the Carolina Inn for lunch with friends. I pulled up in my car with the "TrueBlue" license plate and the Iron Duke sticker on the back window. They graciously valet parked me anyway with not a bit of commentary. When I came out, they had already repositioned my car right at the front door facing out,waiting and ready to drive away. The attendant handed me my keys with a warm "thank you very much and please come again". The lobby was gorgeous and welcoming with huge, very fragrant flower arrangements everywhere/ Our waiter was an old timer who remembered many in our group and gave careful and pleasant service. Gotta say, they can be very, very gracious when they want to be.Bless their hearts.

I kept open eyes on duty for stray dogs. Alas, I saw none.

We went to Galveston today. The weather was nice. Good BBQ but I still like ours much better. Nice day.

I mixed it up today, went and picked up some Pontiac parts this afternoon that were delivered to a local manufacturer of parts for Toyota. The only connection was that the person selling the parts knew the guy that drove the truck over from Washington, Indiana. So, we saved $50 or so on shipping.

Then I stopped at a grocery store on the way home.
