I thought about the reputation points thing and just couldn't decide how to characterize it. This is probably the best assessment of it. Juvenile. Petty. Oh well...

It doesn't appear possible to know who's responsible for the reputation points or pitchforks on your post either though I suppose the moderators can see who's voted points. That sort of anonymity would seem to encourage the more juvenile members to "misbehave" in their treatment of other posters online. Double secret? Yes siree.

I wanted to dislike a post or two by everyone's favorite moderator over yonder, but he has no recent posts. Coincidence?

THAT one has been silent pretty much since the basketball season ended. In the off season, there's nothing for him to analyze in that contorted statistical model he created.

Gee... you responded before I finished editing.
NOTE: I changed "Pester" to "Dislike"
NOTE: I removed the unquoted DitBD reference.
NOTE: I am looking forward to posting from the US... this delay and poor speed is driving me batty.

That's no pitchfork! That thing looks like something to hand out at a picnic. No offense intended. Maybe just hand over a sapphire instead.

It was the only thing available that even resembled a pitchfork. What did you want me to use, Marge Simpson's hairdo?
And the sapphire's still in Madagascar

She wanted a pitchfork. That's what she got, the closest I could get. What did you want me to use, a light sword?

How about

? Or perhaps, (female)

? Starting to post in rhymes/riddles now. Too many unsuccessful attempts to copy and paste smilies from here on the dbr.

OK, now I'm seeing an ad over there for an online game that involves a magical weapon known as a "poostick." Yes, a wand with a glowing poo on the end.
Wow.
