Hey, we're heading to the mountains of Virginia on Thursday too. :D Where is Bud's class reunion?

Bud graduated from Appalachia HS in Appalachia, Va. It's in the coal mining region located in the tip end of the state. It's about 50 miles from Bristol. Where are you headed?

Ah, that's way farther than we're going. We're going to Staunton in the valley.

My wife went to VT, though, which is a little closer to where you're going. I played football at Appalachia State a couple times. Is that near there?

I don't know how far Appalachian State is but would guess it's around 1/2 way. Maybe more. We don't go that way but did once. It took us longer. It's about 300 miles from Efland. You guys have a safe trip and lots of fun. :duke:
