Each time you fly between Madagascar and France, before you start taxiing, the flight attendants walk up and down the aisles spraying some sort of insecticide. This is standard policy.
Last I checked, Air France had no maggots in the overhead compartment.

My big dilemma: what to do for the 4th of July weekend? My options are driving to Little Rock (6 hrs, and I was just there 2 weeks ago) or staying put. There are 2 gatherings in LR to attend, both family events, or one here. Family events sound good, rest also sounds good. Decisions, decisions...
