Good "Day before the eclipse" morning!
Glad to see so many are having fun with the grandkids as summer winds down. School started for some here in SA last week. But next week is when the stuff hits the fan as the larger public school systems get started.
Why do you care YmoBeThere? No kids for you(other than the fur kind). Because while it isn't Carmageddon, my nice 25 minute drive to work goes up to 40 minutes.

Between Sunday evening through this morning, I had over 7 inches of rain at my house. Many water rescues in the metro area this am. Had partly cloudy skies from just before the eclipse started yesterday until just after totality endied. Will definitely look into traveling for the next one. So amazing to see - and to wonder what people thought of it when it occured centuries ago with no prediction/expectation of it coming.
