Re: Time Out
I got the batch of prints that I ordered. I got two sizes, 5 at 40 x 20 inches and 8 at 24 x 12 inches. Unfortunately, five of the smaller ones came cropped; whoever printed them did something funky and pretty much chopped off the scoreboard. The company that I ordered from truly has great customer service, so they have 5 replacements on the way, but I only have three of those smaller ones available until they come in. (Well, two actually, since ID got one earlier today.)
So until my next shipment is ordered (and I get the replacements), I have 5 large ones and 2 small ones. The cool thing about having the cropped ones is that I could test something out without worrying about damaging them. I've sprayed each with a fixative, and then coated them with a clear acrylic gel, which gives each print a more painterly look and adds protection. It also ensures that each is unique since they all have individual and personally applied brushstrokes. They'll be signed on front and back, but not numbered (since I am having to stagger the orders, and since there really are none that are exactly the same), but will be listed as "series one", "series two", etc.
The link to order through my site is here, once each run is sold out they won't be available until I get my next order. (But I will be ordering them.) They really do look amazing with the gel coating!

Have you ever done an embellished giclee? They're pretty cool. It sounds like that's sort of what you're doing there.

Time Out is here and it looks great! Now to sneak it out of the house and to the office shrine.
