Thanks all. Dad is doing much better now that he's home. He was worried they wouldn't let him drive since he seemed to have strain and a transient blurriness in his left eye. When he got home, he was very embarrassed to realize he'd been wearing his no line bifocals all weekend and due to the angle of his hospital bed, they'd been having him look right through the transition area the whole time.
