Our older daughter went there. It was a reasonable choice for her. She got into Duke and Wake, also. She chose unc and I ground my teeth and still have lacerations on my tongue and buccal mucosa from her selection, but I have never publicly or privately chided her about her decision. I also never signed any of the checks that were sent to the unc bursar, either :)) . I think she may have been overwhelmed with the pressure at Duke. We still speak to her but, rarely, if ever, discuss academics or athletics.

She lives in town so we see each other a couple times/week and text, too. :-*
