Fuck that! What makes you think we want him? Why do you think we exported the little fucker in the first place? The worst thing for me is that he is from a town just a few minutes down the road from me.
This kid will be a washed up, drug-addicted loser by the time he's twenty-five. Hell, he's already got the loser part down pat.
Any of you seen this video yet?

Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

Under no circumstances can he be considered a Hoser. There is nothing wrong with Hosers. Hosers are cool. Hell, I'm a Hoser. That little Bieber wanker is not, nor will he ever be, a Hoser.

The music now days takes a backseat to 1) Looks and 2) Production. The music itself just isn't as important anymore. Not saying looks used not to matter. Looks will ALWAYS matter, as will production, but back in the day the MUSIC drove the bus.

Could you imagine the Rolling Stones with Jagger, or KISS with Simmons, or Aerosmith with Tyler, making it as big as they did if they started today? Those were some ugly dudes who made it HUGE on talent.

Last week I was driving down the highway as the sun was just coming up (it was huge on the horizon). Sweet Emotion came on the radio. I turned the volume knob up to 11. It was awesome. The into to that song, as well as the rest of it, is perfect for starting the day.

Right? While it's true that there's always been some emphasis on it, It's ridiculous how much appearance seems to matter nowadays. To the point that, if I happen to turn on the top-40 (or whatever the equivalent format is called now) station, hear all the Auto-Tune, and think, can't anybody fuckin' SING any more? Jesus!

Add dancing and choreography to that mix too. You can have a shitty voice, singing a song you did not write the music to, or pen the lyrics to, or really have anything to do with at all, but boy if you can dance in unison on stage while lip-syncing the words, you are bound for stardom!
Oh, and be sure to throw in a random "shock" moment (so predictable these days) at the awards show. It's mandatory.

Take it a step further, because I think a lot of people can sing, but what they can't do is write. It's one of the things that makes me so dissatisfied and annoyed with American Idol. Some of them are gifted vocalists, but they're mostly void of artistry. It's one thing to sing well, but it's an entirely different thing to be an artist and to use your voice as a medium for expression. American Idol sucks at the art part.
"So You Think You Can Dance" on the other hand, their contestants are bad asses.
