How is Tim staying in the competition? Singing Anita Baker's SWEET LOVE... WTF? They should use his version to flush out dictators from their palaces.

Lee: Should sing Tom Cochrane's LIFE IS A HIGHWAY.

Tonight's attempts to interview folks backstage after they sang were subpar. Siobhan wasn't having any of it... and rightfully so. After the stinging criticism she received, she was clearly in no mood to be interviewed. Folks... give her a little space, okay?

Chain of Fools. Sharp performance, as in her sustained notes tended to be sharp. Katie is awfully young, but to gain a following, she's going to need to sing to her targeted age group. Think Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. NOT Aretha Franklin.
I don't watch AI, but I just wanted to jump in and say I love this song. The Aretha version, of course.

I had a productive evening of shopping. I went to the Apple store and bought a new USB cable for my iPhone and found out, to my surprise, that I might be able to get the messed-up one replaced (warranty). Bought my first new dress in a year or so, and then found shoes to match at DSW. Also got refills for my Day-Timer at Office Max. I finished all this in about 2 hours, and I think I probably spent the majority of my time in DSW. I really like shoes.

I like them a little too much. I enrolled in the reward program at DSW - nothing better to feed my shoe fetish than the promise of rewards for purchasing lots of shoes! :-) Seriously, though, I want to upgrade my work clothes, including shoes. In addition to the 3 inch black patent leather heels I bought to go with my dress, I bought a pair of walking shoes to wear for walking to/from work. The plan is to change them out with nice shoes to wear for work. Now I just have to phase out my current selection of blah shoes that are several years old.

Poor thing, I have to agree with Simon, she did kind of murder that song! What is sad is that it was kind of funny that he said that and everyone started laughing and I saw her face....

she was definitely in pain hearing the critiques, especially while everyone is laughing, but she will survive, but it still pains my heart! I am sure that song meant a lot to her for whomever she sang it for, but I wasn't feeling the chills....
