Supposed to get 2-5" of snow today, with high temps in the 20s, and some wind.

Back at ya, Lavabe! ~O) I would have been close, but it takes about 15 minutes for my computer to warm up, and I watched the 2nd half of the FSU game before I got on.

Unfortunately, it's running Windows XP SP3 with 1G of ram. I installed an upgrade to 1G, but this particular model can ONLY be upgraded to 1G according to Dell's website. I've been told by my friends that know a LOT more than I do that you really need at least 2G to run SP3. So, it takes forever to get to the login screen, then it takes forever to get to my desktop, then it takes a while for the wireless adapter to find the internet, then it takes a minute or so for Firefox to get going. Once everything's open and running, it's pretty good. It's just getting there that takes forever and a day.

I've also been told that my Norton is a resource hog as well, but since I've never had problems with it, I prefer not to mess with it.
