Re: LTE 2.0
I spent this evening going through some of my grandmother's things, looking for trinkets/treasures to bring to my home. I opened a wrapped up Duke blue glass angel and immediately started crying. Though my grandmother has been gone for almost 6 years, I wasn't expecting the emotions I've been feeling tonight. I also found pictures of her when she was very young, we even found a love letter from a man that was not my grandfather. Hee hee, go Nina! I've been reminiscing with my mother thus finding myself really missing my grandmother. My grandmother was a wonderful woman, someone I miss dearly. I wish I could have one more chance to hug her and tell her I love her.
To all who still have their grandparents, please give them a hug from me. Grandparents are awesome!

I know how you feel, Tilly. I lost my grandparents at a pretty young age, and I still miss them a lot, and it hits me at odd times.

Back home, after visiting Maison Devildeac. Many thanks to the hosts in Raleigh.
Unfortunately, I now have a blooming cold. BLECH! I almost made a year sans cold.
Must get some soup.

Chicken soup?
Another day off for me, I think I'm going to go see Avatar in 3D today. Then stop by the office and get a little work done. On the day off. I guess it's not a real day off. Plus I have to be at work tomorrow.

Re: LTE 2.0
Three observations while surfing the ESPN family of networks in search of the game between Duke and UK's last opponent:
1) WTF are the Tar Holes wearing a strip of red along the waistbands of their shorts? First the football coach wants to wear Duke blue. Then ol'Roy wants to wear Wolfpack Red.
2) Jason Williams calling the Xavier game: he's getting plenty of chances to latch on with the network.
3) WHY must 5-10 minutes of the nightly local news tonight be about John Wall?

The only reason I left that game on was that he was calling it. The question came up about the best game of this decade, he didn't vote Duke-Maryland. LOL!Lavabe wrote:2) Jason Williams calling the Xavier game: he's getting plenty of chances to latch on with the network.

You should note that Coach Bad Ass hit a couple of free throws in that last minute of regulation.YmoBeThere wrote:The only reason I left that game on was that he was calling it. Lavabe tried to kill me
Lavabe gave me some homemade pickled peppers. He said they were a bit spicy. I had one about 5 minutes ago and I'm sure my toungue and digestive tract now are covered in 3rd degree burn blisters.
I'll probably have another one this weekend after I recover.
