As you know, baseball is wonderful, but America's true national pastime is football.
I recognise the second half of that statement but the first half confuses me to no end ;)

No, it is not a sport. It is a wonderful excuse to sit outside on a summer evening and drink beer and eat food.

So true...I prefer the pace of baseball to football. Plus you get more chances to get to the restroom.

It's better known as the one sport in which you are not tied up in a fantasy league...

Since every thread is a beer thread, I was in Straub's today and saw that they STILL have O'Fallon Wheach. Also have O'Fallon Pumpkin Ale and Schlafly Pumpkin Ale.

Finally! I'm pretty much done with my Duke application. (Except for what I have to write about going to court)
I love the ACT. I really do. And the fact that colleges mix and match to look at your highest total score. Overall, I did slightly worse this time, but when you mix and match my two tests, my scores are even better!!!
The best part is: I never have to take it again.

Better PM Lavabe to inform him. I'd also try the NASCAR and futbol threads. Heck, I'd post it in ALL the threads which would not only be sure to notify him but would also greatly augment your post count. ;)

Devildeac, I salute your wisdom as the King PW.
Actually, Lavabe already has a sixer of Wheach sitting in my fridge. Don't know if I need to get the Pumpkin Ale. Either/or? Both?

I would purchase both of them. Especially considering 1-2 of each will end up in my fridge in the next month or so. ;)

I still have part of a sixer of Wheach that I bought earlier in the summer. Figured I'd send it with him as well. Hopefully it'll end up at a Brunchgate. If I can't make it, I can at least send beer as a substitute! ;)

He'd better make it out to St. Louis. Soon.

I'm attempting to drink a glass of wine from a bottle that someone gave me as a gift. It's a Rieseling from a winery in Texas. Unfortunately it's nasty. Blech! Wilson would probalby say it's fitting that I'm drinking this wine in celebration of the Hogs' victory of the Aggies.
