I really, really hope we don't have the same officiating crew for the championship game that we had for the semis. Those guys were the textbook definition of asshats.

The last time we played unc in the ACC final, we whooped their ass and then won the national championship.
Just sayin'.

The important thing here, is that we whooped their ass. :9f:

I'm sure Coach K and staff have reiterated the embarrassment of that last effort in Chapel Hell...I fully expect us to come out a bunch of badasses. Maybe we can have Kyrie in the layup line, dressed out for the game just to fukc with them!!

So if Duke wins today (not saying 'if' in case I jinx anything) do they get a #1 seed in the tourney?

And how many ACC teams will make the tourney this year?

We wound up getting BOTH Hess and Luckie today.

If anyone would like to defend them, I have a simple question:
If an elbow to the face on a drive is considered a technical, WHAT is a knee to the face?

Of course, I am still awaiting the defense of the lack of a call on VT's Allen for throwing the ball directly at Dre's head.

I am really hoping we get Big East, Big Ten, Big Twelve, or Pac Ten officials in the Tourney.

After one of the time outs there was a delay due to blood on the floor from a cheerleader. Does anyone know what happened? I hope it wasn't our favorite cheerleader.

The local guys said it was a unc male cheerleader dropped a unc female cheerleader, and in trying to make sure she didn't fall, he got his head cut open. :9f:

Vibes to the cheerleader. (Taking the moral high road.) :9f:

Thanks for the info. It is truly not your day when your cheerleaders are injuring each other. :D

I just went to Inside Carowhina and read the game thread. They were complaining about the officiating! Said the refs had decided to give the game to Duke and called it accordingly! Excuse me, did we watch the same game? Did they look at the box score? =)) =)) =)) :9f:

And karl #$%&ing hess called a flagrant foul on Gerald Henderson on the play, ejecting him and earning a 1 game suspension for his actions. :D :Angry Orc: (for unc fans, luckie and kersey, too)

:9f:
Well, I hit 50% on this one.
UAB? VCU? USC?

I am thinking that, record aside, VA Tech's thug style cost them a spot in the NCAAs.
