This uncle is my mom's younger brother.
His birthday was actually yesterday, March 9, but today is our first opportunity to get together (we've been working on it all week).

Interestingly, March 9 is both of my mother's brothers' birthday. One was born on the other's 16th birthday (the younger one is the one I'm really close with). Mom is smack in the middle, 8 years younger than the one and 8 years older than the other.

My dad and his brother lacked one month of being 17 years apart, with no siblings between. :9f:

Worldwide or just in the state of Georgia? If it's worldwide, my guess is that many more than 99,000 will come tonight.

Thank you, on behalf of MyMama.

Christian and I took her to A Tavola, a cute little Italian restaurant around the corner from my office. We gave her a necklace.

She's had a big day. Miss Fran and some friends came from Raleigh and took Mom out to lunch at Rucker John's. All of her grandbabies have called her and serenaded her with "Happy Birthday to You Cha Cha Cha," and she's enjoyed reading all of her cards and opening her gifts. I showed her my FB page with all of the birthday wishes on it. She is one happy birthday gal.
