Yeah, well, I posted what I was told last night before the game, that Kyrie's dad has shut him down for the rest of the season. He's done at Duke. This comes from what I consider a reputable source. Reputable enough to post it at 1:30 a.m. and discuss it until 10 a.m. this morning in the thread. Very disappointing. All those posts were deleted about 11 when I was put on holiday. It's just for a couple of days. I'll probably go back. Maybe. We'll see. And I see I am "missing" from the member list. Interesting.

But I still feel cheated that we lost out on watching Kyrie play this season for Duke.

Who is going to by sneakers with his logo on them when he really isn't that well known? He had a great high school career, and a great 6-week college career. He has enormous talent and potential at the college level and at the NBA level. If these rumors are true, I have to question his dad's motivation. Money ain't everything and only provides temporary happiness.
