My vote is for Ryan. He had 11 points, 5 rebounds, 4 blocks, and it seemed like he did all the little things that don't show up in the boxscore.
Iron Duke #1471997.

I also voted for Ryan. How can you not vote for the guy who Coach K called the most improved player in the ACC?
On a side note, I guess I could have added the Duke Defense as an option. 41 points total, and just 15 allowed in the second half. It was good enough for Duke to go from 7th to 3rd in the kenpom defensive rankings.

Ditto. I'd almost vote for MOTM for Ryan but that would leave Nolan "MF" Smith with no votes for anything . If Kyle doesn't start scoring somewhere near his average again, Nolan is gonna start seeing double and triple teams and they'll make someone else beat us.Jesus_hurley wrote:I also voted for Ryan. I agree, Ryan was a huge difference maker last night complimenting Nolan's superb effort once again. Not sure what the deal is with Kyle, he seems easily taken out of his game for a few games now.

Nolan for me, because I was at the Uva game!! and Nolan was rolling!!! Ryan had a beautiful game. To me, Nolan Smith is ACC POY and National POY.
Ryan is sizing up to be the next Zoubs!!! Wish MP1 and MP2 would step it up a few notches!! And create screens, so that Kyle and Nolan wouldnt have to run the entire game. KYLE looked a sick puppy last night. He was whiter than usual. And got in foul trouble early.
NOLAN is my pick because he Carried the entire Duke team, and Ryan did everything he needed to last night.
I was so glad when the final buzzer sounded. The game was so ugly and sloppy it was hard to watch. And in the 2nd half, there was a stretch to where nothing was falling either way. And UVa went so long without a bucket, that when the Uva player made a 3, everyone clapped!!
UVa arena is beautiful. Students, fans, and workers are very cordial. Lots of Duke blue in JPJ arena last night!!
Nolan is my pick by being a senior captain and leader. Ryan is his WINGMAN!! Go Duke!!

MR KELLY is needed so bad n the paint, and to create screens and take consistent great shots. MP1 and MP2 are inconsistent. I have hope and faith. Thank goodness for SMITH & KELLY last night.
Ryan is peaking at the right time!

I wonder if anyone related to the team knows about our little corner of the internets. This award, it seems to me, is a really great expression of the program's ethos.

And now, it's been suggested OY that there be a poll introduced for "the X Factor":wilson wrote:I wonder if anyone related to the team knows about our little corner of the internets. This award, it seems to me, is a really great expression of the program's ethos.

If they do start that, can we sue them for totally copying us?wilson wrote:And now, it's been suggested OY that there be a poll introduced for "the X Factor":wilson wrote:I wonder if anyone related to the team knows about our little corner of the internets. Good question. Is there a crazietalk twitter account? I'd be happy to use that to, um, promote the poll and end result - particularly if the 'winner' has a twitter account.wilson wrote:I wonder if anyone related to the team knows about our little corner of the internets.
