Tyler Thornton for me. He was a key cog in the machine that picked up the slack while Nolan was out, and his free throw shooting down the stretch kept the margin comfortable.

I second Wilson's motion.

Near the end of the game, Mr. Lawgrad said, "Do you think they'll start fouling Plumlees?" I responded, "If I were Miami, I would foul Tyler Thornton. He's a freshman, and it's a lot of pressure." Whereupon Tyler went 6 for 6 from the line.

Plus, if you told me Nolan would go out injured for a large stretch of the first and we would increase our lead, I would have told you to stop taking EJ's and Colchar's meds.

The BeDeviler is the one that doesn't put up the big numbers in the boxscore, right?

Ryan Kelly got my vote for hitting shots right out of the gate and setting a tone.

Better not foul the 'Hanson' brothers. Combined 4-4 at the line. When Marshall comes in, they should find some hornrim glasses with white tape.

I voted for Ryan Kelly. His jumpers from around the free throw line was a text book demonstration on how to beat the 2-3 zone.

Kelly, TT, doesn't matter to me. They both had important contributions that were not eye-openers (no Nolan pun intended) but were instrumental in the W.

RK got my my vote. His contributions don't always show up in the stat line, but he always seems to be in the right place to make good things happen.
