Ugh. Leaving aside the obvious (i.e., you don't get Duke-miami), that's an NBA matchup about as exciting as watching paint dry. The Cavaliers just set the NBA record for consecutive losses and tied the major sports record for consecutive losses. And aren't the Wizards still batting .000 on the road?YmoBeThere wrote:Tonight at 7 PM on Fox Sports Ohio...Wizards at Cavaliers. My pain continues.

Mike Gminski's tie tonight was one of the ugliest things I have ever tried to look at.
I also don't think that announcing duo is very good. They missed a number of important moments while yammering about nothing, and I just generally think Tim Brando is a fucking buffoon.

Do they still have Valentine parties in schools? I remember decorating a shoebox back in the day and spending the last hour or so of Valentine's Day exchanging cards and eating candy and cupcakes.
But I bet they don't do that anymore, since it probably imperils children's self-esteem and makes them fat.

Christian's school doesn't have Valentine's parties--it cuts into instructional time.wilson wrote:Do they still have Valentine parties in schools? I remember decorating a shoebox back in the day and spending the last hour or so of Valentine's Day exchanging cards and eating candy and cupcakes.

He did have Cotillion on Friday night at the country club. It was semi-formal and had a Valentine's Day theme with refreshments and decor. I'm trying to teach him the proper social graces.

Try strawberries instead. They have potassium also. And are much better than bananas. I detest bananas.

I love both bananas and strawberries. I also think that strawberry-banana is the second-best flavor combination in existence (behind chocolate and peanut butter).DukieInKansas wrote:CameronBornAndBred wrote:I was rudely awakened this morning by a long lasting and painful calf cramp. Wilson - you may have all my bananas and pickles. I have no use for either one.

My kids go to a Catholic School and they had Valentine's Day parties today. They had an awesome day. I don't think they decorated shoeboxes though. First grade sets up a post office as a fund raiser every year, and they deliver valentines to students' classrooms for a small fee.wilson wrote:Do they still have Valentine parties in schools?
