I think I'll call mine Gladys. She's a grouch who has lived in Brooklyn for 76 years, and she smokes a pack a day.

Okay, my dear, dear Blue Devil brothers, Ezmarellda and Roxie are our alter egos! Whenever we get especially bitchy or are really, really baaaadd, you are actually dealing with our alter egos, not us  I highly recommend developing an alter ego. They are not girl-exclusive and are oh so much fun and convenient!!! I love beer and so does Ezzie!!! Buuuurrrrpppp ;)

And, lest we forget, tarholes are a bunch sticky stinky shit :P Ozzie, as usual, is entirely right!

By the way, how the hell are you doing Roxie bee-atch?! Ezzie-ho is awesome!!!
Roxie-girl is doing quite well, thank you very much. Quite looking forward to girls weekend! (Gotta book flights, gotta book flights... )

How come there's no bad girl smilie?

Nothing exciting enough to call in the Shin Kickers. The person asked a "Duh" type question but I responded nicely and reminded them to do a particular thing - which they didn't do. Had to make adjustments on this end to what they had done.

This individual would keep them way too busy if they had to react to every irritating thing they do.

My sister sent the below to me in one of those pass it on emails. Any truth to what she shared? I am particularly concerned about the part that states "there may be no pain in the chest during a heart attack." I've always heard the opposite.

About Heart Attacks

There are other symptoms of an heart attack besides the pain on the left arm.
One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating, however these symptoms may also occur less frequently.
Note: There may be no pain in the chest during a heart attack.
The majority of people (about 60%) who had an heart attack during their sleep, did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.

If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water.
Immediately Afterwards
- phone 911, a neighbor or a family member who lives very close by
- say "heart attack!"
- say that you have taken 2 aspirins.
- take a seat on a chair or sofa near the front door, and wait for their arrival and...
~ do NOT lie down ~
This is what I get for not spending much time here yesterday. OTOH, it's kinda nice to read through 4 pages of the LTE and PW like crazie(talk) for an hour or so. :)) .
I believe there is a fair amount of truth to the above. There may be some shortness of breath also. I'd chew the aspirin. It would be OK to lay down if you feel lightheaded/dizzy. There really is not much else to do until EMS arrives and they should be there in less than 10 minutes. Not much else to suggest.
What should be done if the person happens to be allergic to aspirin...or for that matter, all NSAIDs?

Are you still presented with a shell lei when you enter Hilo Hatties?

The store in Kona offered one to me, though I turned it down as I did not need another lei. The store in Hilo did not. Course they would have received the same answer.

I bought the dress I'm wearing from Hilo Hatties. On the elevator this morning a woman was admiring my dress. She asked me where I got and of course I told her Hawaii. Guess that killed any notion of buying one for herself. Poor thing.

When you only have so much room in your suitcase, carry on-item, yes you can actually have too many.

Now, if you are talking in terms of a lifetime, no, one can never have enough leis. :D :D
