I went to the grocery today to purchase the items needed for my ham and corn chowder (recently posted in The Recipe Thread). The first time around, my onion didn't make it into my bag, so I had to go back. During my second visit, Elton John and Kiki Dee's "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart" was playing over the Publix speakers.
Said song is now hopelessly CEMENTED IN MY FUCKING BRAIN. ~X( ~X( ~X( ~X( ~X( ~X( :-w

Sing it for the gathering au pairs. It might work.

It will either bring them to your table or get the song out of your head. You win either way - just more so one way than the other.

After seeing everyone getting stuck on our hill the other night, Erica and I decided to pull the trigger we've been contemplating for a while. We got a Ford F-150 4x4 with the super crew cab. There were only a few left in the area since the 2011s came out a month or so ago, so we got a pretty good deal. According to USAA and truecar.com, we only paid a about $700 over invoice. I wanted Duke blue, but there weren't any in the version we wanted, and the wife wanted black, so we got black. Anyway, it's a pretty sweet ride, IMHO. Wanting a good deal, and being engineers (not wanting to be guinea pigs for Ford's "new engines" that they put in their entire fleet...generally it's a good idea to wait 'til Mach 3 (okay grammar police, is it mach 3 or mock 3 in this case?) so they get all the bugs worked out), we decided to go with the 2010 instead of the 2011.

Is the fact that it is stuck in your brain breaking your heart?

I rear-ended a car this afternoon. There we were along the side the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car. You know how sometimes you just get so stressed and little things just seem funny? Well I couldn't believe it. . . He was a DWARF!!!

He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted, "I AM NOT HAPPY!"

So, I looked down at him and said, "Well, then which one are you?"

If I had placed it in the joke thread, you all would have known that it was a joke from the beginning.

The wulffies need a cure for a lot of shit.

The ACC supervisor of officials needs to cure some BB refs. Those in the hole/State game today have a baby blue streak, a foot wide down their backs that don't stop at their lower orafices. They continue around and run right up into them. I'm not gonna sit here and say that State ever had achance to win today. Not the way they played. But, damn! I don't think I've ever seen a more lopsidedly called game in the holes favor. Cheap ass technicals, too many over-the-back fouols for free (fouls too), travels, just so much shit that I wish I could have taken a written account but it was wayyyyy to painful to watch it all. :9f:
