I've been AWOL.

for a really long time by now. Lavabe can attest to the fact that 2010 was quite eventful for me, and even more has happened since he and I last spoke late in the year. More on that later, I assure you.
For today, though, I really just need a heaping helping of vibes. I am going to the game in Tallahassee tonight, regardless of the obstacles that lie before me.

As you all know, those obstacles involve significant amounts of ice on Atlanta roadways. The Georgia DOT says our interstates (except 285, the perimeter road here, which I avoid like the plague even when it's 80 and sunny out) are passable, so all I gotta do is rendezvous with one of my best friends, Eddie, and then get to the highway. A tall order, still. So, please...help me get to the only state in the Union without any snow on the ground?

You've been AWOL way longer than I have been. Glad to see you back. Definite vibes and warmth thoughts are heading to GA & FL for your travels! Cheer for all of us that can't be there. I'll watch for you on TV.

Yell loud at the game!!!! All of those tomahawks on TV and Fear the Spear Signs. Duke needs to step it up in a big way. Kyle has 3 fouls, and we arent knocking down our shots.

Well, I shan't be returning to Tallahassee anytime soon. One of my best friends from Duke was born and raised there, and was/is a huge 'Noles fan. In early November, I went down and watched FSU miss a last-second field goal and lose to the heels. Now this. Ugh.
On the other hand, we had amazing seats, 4 rows behind the Duke bench. I could hear Coach K's every word (many of which were words of displeasure).
