Why, yes! I was such a stellar student! ;)
Seriously, he'd never had to study before college. It all came to him so easily. But remember Fortran? It kicked his butt! Also, ExLax lived in House P. His first semester was dismal.

I remember Fortran IV and doing punch cards in the Engineering Building terminals or in the AROD Building (that's when AROD meant Army Research Office Durham and not Alex Rodriguez). That was first semester freshman year. Got a B in the course. I know because I just dug out my transcript

and I can go back and answer DD's snarky ;) comment above! I got a 3.175 second semester freshman year and a 3.1 first semester senior year, which were upper level engineering and management science courses.
