I was supposed to make the breakfast for everyone at Mom's house this morning. Oh well. I'm not getting out in this mess! They can just eat what's left over from the Moravian sugar cake I took over there yesterday.

Our snow is so beautiful. I'm sitting by the fire, sipping hot tea, enjoying the beauty and serenity of it all.

Good morning, I guess. All quiet on the Western Front until just now. Stepdau and BF showed up last night with her cat. They slept on separate couches so as not to upset the delicate balance of Mom. Cat is staying in garage. Cat just began meowing. Merlin is about to come out of his skin.

Good Morning!!!!! (Barely) I'm still slurping coffee in my robe and munching on left over stolen from LaFarm Bakery. (Dang, those things are good!) Verrrrry quiet around here. Snow puts mufflers on everything. We must get something out for the birds. Have a cozy day everybody!

Office closed today, too. It's 21 or 22 degrees and the secondary/neighborhood roads are like glaciers.

No, a 1997 BMW. It stopped acting funny and got us home. Dale of Dale's Towing took my Saab away. Thanks, AAA, for the free tow.
