Read about that game over the weekend. IIRC, they shot 2/25 in the 1st half for a stunning 8% FG accuracy.bjornolf wrote:I was reading DBR's article about anemic offenses, and I remember I heard on the radio yesterday that Cal may be the winner in this department and was surprised they didn't mention this. Cal scored 5 points in the first half against Notre Dame the other day. Five. 5. FIVE points? What's up with that?

bjornolf, they have plenty of "other (good ) stuff" that's gets plenty of uncomfortable procedures during a physical, as you well know...bjornolf wrote:Getting it done before the year runs out! I am glad that I don't have a prostate, Bjornolf. I'm probably as glad as you are that you didn't have to endure a mammogram TWICE this morning.bjornolf wrote:Just be glad you don't have a prostate!

Re: LTE 2.0
I get my physical on Friday AM. Basically, it's the test that will determine what's really going on with my cholesterol and triglycerides. After complaining about the last doctor I had (the one who never talked with me about the results of my blood work), the office is giving me a NEW guy. Hopefully this will mean I will have a doctor who avoids overprescribing at the drop of a hat. And maybe he'll actually discuss the blood work with his patient. Thankfully, I have a cardiologist in the family.

If only we could have had a 7-0 score hold up for two halves this past Saturday, though in a different sport.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Didn't read the article, but it brings to mind a very pleasant 7 - 0 first half score!bjornolf wrote:I was reading DBR's article about anemic offenses, and I remember I heard on the radio yesterday that Cal may be the winner in this department and was surprised they didn't mention this. Nice painting and the grained pigskin matte is very clever. Was that your idea or hers?CameronBornAndBred wrote:Lisa Renfree sent me photos of the painting in the frame, including a closeup of the matte she used..it's too cool!
Either way, quite smart.
