Great game, the crowd was at least half blue, and the Oregon fans were pretty silent once we went up 20-7.

The day would have been a hell of a lot better if I hadn't forgotten the tickets when we left the house -- we were halfway between Seattle & Portland (1.5 hours from home) when I remembered. But it would have been a hell of a lot worse if we had made it all the way down to Portland before realizing; as it was, we went back home, picked up the tix, and still made it in to the game just before tip-off.
Were you in the Chehalis/Centralia area? That's where my grandma used to live. :D

In fact, that's where we turned around. (I forget which is which.)

Wrong thread! ;) But Good Morning back to you. And 2 demerits for not ending your post according to the Captain's decree. Here's one for you. :9f:

This is not Fight Club. :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue:
It can't be Fight Club. If it were, we wouldn't be talking about it. :D

Well said but the decree expires when the stickiness of the thread expires.
It has been quite popular.

Cutie. It looks like she's got a booboo on her forehead though. Katie gets those a lot. I keep telling her to stop headbutting her brothers, but she never listens.

Yup, she got that on Wednesday evening at home. Bumped into something. We got a panicky call about 6 pm from mom to Nurse Beth... Obviously it was nothing to worry about B-) but a few tears were shed, some of them by Ruthie... ;)

Memo to self for next year: it's probably not a good idea to drink half a bottle of wine on a more or less empty stomach before decorating a Christmas tree.

Anyway, the tree is decorated. Except for maybe putting a floodlight on the wreath in front of the garage, all the Christmas decorating is done. It's not a Duke tree, but it does have white lights and several Duke ornaments. :9f:

I was reading DBR's article about anemic offenses, and I remember I heard on the radio yesterday that Cal may be the winner in this department and was surprised they didn't mention this. Cal scored 5 points in the first half against Notre Dame the other day. Five. 5. FIVE points? What's up with that?

Didn't read the article, but it brings to mind a very pleasant 7 - 0 first half score! :9f:
