Vibes for Travelers

Post by captmojo » November 20th, 2010, 8:31 am

Thanksgiving Hell week has already begun.
The highways and byways are crammed from ditch to ditch with vehicles of all sorts.
I suppose many are traveling on ground, for the holiday, as opposed to air which is being demonized (possibly justifyably so) because of TSA concerns.
For all travelers, wherever you are... :wizard:

You need 'em!

That's okay - I thought he was sending vibes to the minor league baseball team in Little Rock (the Arkansas Travelers). :)

I put Kid #2 on a plane to California this morning. The good news is that American Airlines has just dropped the Unaccompanied Minor fee from 15 years of age to 12 years of age. Woo-hoo! I got a $200 refund at RDU this morning. They kept asking my kid if he was comfortable flying by himself. He told the ticket agent, "I fly 16 trips per year. I'm not concerned."

Woo-hoo! I got $200 back this morning!

I called ExLax. He was upset that he couldn't greet the kid at the gate. This is the same man who was upset that the kid's Thanksgiving airline tickets cost $841. Dumbass. I just gave you a $200 discount on the ticket. No need to be upset.

Vibes for travelers. Woo-hoo!

Vibes to your son for his return trip, and renewed shin kicks to ExLax.

Safe travel for your son.

As for the other guy, we both know you can't teach class.

I expect to make trips to PTI as the family airport shuttle driver and on Thanksgiving I'll be the driver to take us to Durham for a Thanksgiving feast with family near my old neighborhood.

For everyone on the roads, whether it be to the mall or across the state, and those traveling in the air or by rail, safe travels and happy times with friends and family.

He must be into the Ron White method. That is, pin a $20 bill to his collar and wish him the best of luck.

Safe travels and not too much of ExLax rubbing off!

No travels here. Mom hitched a ride with Cousin Jack and is here til Monday week. We are traveling from one side of town to the other for Thanksgiving dinner, and the sum total of our Thanksgiving cooking is defrosting a Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. :happy-bouncyblue:
