You don't walk the plank in NJ. You just disappear. Forever.
Re: LTE 2.0
I do, and it was always kind of envisioned as part of a pair. I've all but decided I'm getting myself #2 for my birthday this year, but I just may spring for it a little early.Sue71 wrote:I didn't know you had #1.wilson wrote:Or I might get a new tattoo instead.

I just got kicked off Facebook for site maintenance so I'm either going to bed or typing up another 'Lost' episode for the DBR.

What's the first, and what will the second be?wilson wrote:I do, and it was always kind of envisioned as part of a pair. First is an anchor. Second will (probably) be a sextant (a navigational device from the Age of Sail):Sue71 wrote:

That sucks, but they need to do some maintenance over there. It was beyond awful this weekend.Bostondevil wrote:I just got kicked off Facebook for site maintenance so I'm either going to bed or typing up another 'Lost' episode for the DBR.

I'm disappointed there are no pirates, jolly ranchers, etc, even though they are 'related'.wilson wrote:First is an anchor. Second will (probably) be a sextant (a navigational device from the Age of Sail):Sue71 wrote:

Will the sextant be discernible?
Where is the anchor/where will the sextant go? ;)

Re: LTE 2.0
I assume you mean "Jolly Roger." And yeah, it'd be cool to have a pirate tattoo...for about 15 minutes. Then it'd just be sort of contrived.Sue71 wrote:

My anchor is at the base of my right calf. The sextant will go somewhere on my left leg, probably right about where my shorts stop. I'd like for it to show only when I'm wearing rather short shorts (which I'm wont to do on a pretty regular basis).
These are meaningful symbols to me, and very much related in their significance. I'm pretty pumped about it. My mother, however, is/will be a different story.

Ummm...well we haven't done what we did on that other board. 24 hours of posting, okay at least 1 post every 24 hours. I can cover 5 am East Coast and later. Or would that be too contrived?

No fever, but my chest is a little tight (don't go there Sham). I've taken cough suppressants and hopefully will make it through the day. Whatever is going on I've been battling for a week, really hope I win.wilson wrote:And Tilly, I'm also glad you made it through the night. You feeling any better today?

wilson wrote:This is one of the few things that can make me wish I was back in Greenville. I attended more baseball games than all other sports while I was there (probably about a dozen in all). It's a great stadium, and the program has a modicum of tradition. They had an especially good season this year even by their standards, winning the conference title (over, among other teams, recent powerhouse Rice) and finishing ranked #16 or so in the country.
Now it's on to a Super Regional series against the hated tar heels. So now, for several very good reasons, we can all get behind the PIRATES.
Late to the party - but everyone's a Pirate fan now!

I was layed (is that the right layed, or is it laid, again Sham, don't go there ;) )up Friday - Sunday. All other days it's been business as usual, just not at 100%.wilson wrote:Man, that's a bummer. Tilly, you might want to see a doctor to make sure you don't have pneumonia. That tightness in your chest is a little concerning. Just to be safe.
