Note to EJ
Next time you need to get an odor out of your car, I've got you covered. 60 minutes with one of these babies and the odor is gone. Every car dealer I've let try it has bought it this week, and I'm just getting started! I'm putting some poor schlep of a contract guy out of business!

Ahh, an ozone generator. One of my patents deals with a device that could be used for ozone generation. We were using it to charge the surface of continuous filaments.

Re: Note to EJ
Seriously, no. A (long) while ago he started a thread about how to get rid of a seriously bad odor in his car. It may have had something to do with getting rid of blood stains in the trunk, too. One would use the PortOzone with no one occupying the car at the time of use. It would not help get rid of the blood stains. They just wouldn't stink anymore ;)Jesus_hurley wrote:*PortOzone is intended for use in spaces that are unoccupied by humans or pets.

It was collard green juice that spilled all over my trunk. DD makes a veiled reference to it from time to time.

Veiled, my wanker. Nothing but direct references. I even liked the old thread from DBR, IIRC .Lavabe wrote:DUDE... that was ME.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Seriously, no. Have a couple of sporks over here, so you don't have to go OY.

Re: Note to EJ
Hmmmmmm. This sounds interesting. I used a dead moose to get rid of the original human blood/bodily fluid odor, but even a dead moose smells awful. I finally just sold the car to my grandmother..........who, incidentally, was arrested two months later on murder charges. Go figure.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Next time you need to get an odor out of your car, I've got you covered. 60 minutes with one of these babies and the odor is gone. I figured his roommate, or what was left of him, CAUSED the original human blood/bodily fluid odor.Jesus_hurley wrote:I bet your roommate would love to have one of these.EarlJam wrote:Hmmmmmm. Yeah, "allegedly," that's the ticket! Re: Note to EJ
I did a search for the thread, but nothing came up. Guess I didn't use the right terms. What did you call it? I found a 2 year old thread on getting rid of smoke and odors in a NYC apartment and sent him a PM about the GT3000. Haven't heard back from him yet.Lavabe wrote:If you revive that thread OY, I might actually visit. Perhaps I'll even get a spork or two!devildeac wrote:Veiled, my wanker. If you still have that car, drive it to Raleigh next time and we'll zap it.

And they still do! But this is so much smaller and lighter than what they used to use, there is no comparison.bjornolf wrote:Hotels used to use those to get rid of cigarette smell in the rooms.

Most of the old ones are the size of a large Electrolux canister vacuum cleaner. This one is roughly 6" x 7" x 5" and weighs 2.4 lbs.bjornolf wrote:Wow, really?
