Duke vs St Augestine's TONIGHT

Post by Jesus_hurley » October 23rd, 2010, 2:30 pm

First game against another team, albeit just an exhibition game. Game time is 7:00 tonight and if you aren't going but want to see it you can get a month month subscription on goduke.com for about $10.00. If you get a one month subscription now you'll be able to see both men's exhibition games, both women's exhibition games and all the untelevised games (like the Colgate game on 11/19 that will be on espn3) in early november. I hooked my laptop up to my TV to watch CTC highlights earlier and the video looks much better then last year. I understand you can view from a PS3 as well.

I stopped by Section 21 on my iTouch while watching on the laptop. :-B Nobody was there, then, either.

That was scary, especially where we were running on all cylinders in the first half. (PRACTICE YOUR DAMNED FOUL SHOTS!)

Loved the game!!! Everybody got in the game and made great contributions. Good team dynamics. Bigs looked good. Kyrie is the real deal. Kyle is Kyle!!!!! All the kids were impressive.

I knew it would be a blow out. Just not so much!!!! :duke:

But there again, this team is basically....... the returning National Champs. Without Zoubs, Lance and Jon.... They were 3 starters and key. But this team is pretty darn good.

Miles, Mason and Ryan look real good. Kyrie, Seth, Andre and Nolan are great shooters. Kyle, Josh and Tyler on the wings, PF and all athletic. This is a great team. Fun 2 watch.

I was in Virginia with TNTdevil and Cowboydevil. We had internet, but no game, and satellite internet ain't exactly speedy.

CB&B, if we put it up in the first half (except for foul shots), it went in. It was 30-1 at one point. It was hard to tell just how good we really are from that game. All the 3's were dropping, it seemed like, Kyrie's alley-oops were perfect, and the defense was stifling.

Sounds awesome. I'll miss seeing the next one too, since I don't pay for the video feed (might change my mind before next game though)...but I'll listen to it.

Cal Poly Pomona and Colgate are not on TV, either, and the video access is $10 for a month, so it was certainly worth it for me to watch 3 games.

I was actually fairly impressed with the video feed. It was really not much worse then watching the game in non-HD. I hooked my laptop up to my TV with a vga cable and audio using a cable with a headphone plug at one end and rca plugs at the other. While there was some choppiness at times, overall it was worth the money since I'll get to see all 4 exhibition games (men and women) plus the Colgate game which will otherwise just be on espn3 - which as a TWC subscriber I still don't have access to.
