I foresee doing other orders of mammals as well.

I'll pass. In 3rd grade the class had a pair of gerbils. IIRC, they were named Fifi and Jacques. I had the honor of keeping them over the weekend a couple of times. My mom was just thrilled...

I had 'Stumpy', the tail-challenged squirrel for a couple of years.

Any rodent I owned might as well be named cat food.
We have 2 cats who go outside occasionally. We get presents when they do. Some of which appear on this list.

My daughter over time had a gerbils, mice, hamsters and rats. The rats were pretty cool - very sweet and very very smart. I'd have to go with Rats.

Occasionally a squirrel comes across our fence and raids our bird feeder. If he makes it in alive, he usually doesn't make it out, thanks to Merlin the hunter.

I'm done with rodents. I divorced mine.

I like squirrels. Their antics getting into my dad's bird feeders just crack me up.
After rats invaded our home and just about destroyed it, killing one of our rabbits, I just can't go rats.

The funniest thing about BimbHo's name is that her last name is "Ho." Really. Legally. It's on her birth certificate.devildeac wrote:I am sure glad I did not have my usual AM Diet Coke in my hand/mouth as I clicked on the first unread post in this thread.CathyCA wrote:I'm done with rodents. It helps to keep a sense of humor about these things.

I went with Chipmunk. I just think they're cute. I like them, though they can be hell on landscaping.
