We took our boss out for lunch today for a late boss' day celebration. Everyone was too busy Friday, including the boss.

Going to another "Green" trade show in Cary today. Didn't know about it in time to exhibit, but I'll check out the competition. And I'm meeting up with a high school friend that will be there
that has lived in Charlotte for years unbeknownst to me!

Good morning.
Fighting crime all afternoon, and the Supreme Court of Virginia all morning. They want an original and six copies of our appeals briefs (in 14 point, Arial, Courier or Verdana only), but we're supposed to certify that we complied with the rule that says we are to send them fifteen copies, and no one seems to know just how many trees we are to kill for them to tell this idiot that he needs to stay in jail for twenty years for sticking a gun to the head of an Alzheimer's patient.

One of my classmates is coming from Kentucky for the reunion. She pulls for the New Hanover Wildcats--not the wildcats of Kentucky. I'm very excited to see her because she is also celebrating five years of being cancer-free!

Good morning!
I'm home sick today. I have a cold. Not a bad cold, just a cold. If I had court, I would go to work. But it's race weekend, and I don't want to have to fight the traffic getting to work to sit around and do nothing and be unable to go out to lunch (there isn't a restaurant worth its salt within 20 miles that isn't PACKED over this weekend). So I'm going to stay home and
sit.
