Re: Roy Halladay
Damn him. I was going to exercise and when I turned on the game and saw he hadn't given up a hit (in the fourth or so) I decided I would watch until he gave up a hit.
Actually, he was very impressive. I can hear DukeUsul yelling all the way from Derm.

I'm really kicking myself for not having the game on; I was focused on the Braves playing tomorrow nite. I was home, too.

Re: Roy Halladay
First pitcher to pitch a no-hitter in the regular season and in the postseason.
Is it just Don Larsen and Halladay who have thrown postseason no-hitters?

Hey, your (new) team's gotta hit the ball. In the 1st game of the series, they gave their impression of the frigid bats of the Atlanta Braves.YmoBeThere wrote:Boo Phillies!

Re: Roy Halladay
They hit it a bit last night, they couldn't catch it. With that said, by my actions I was predicting a short series for them. I've sold my tickets for Sunday night's game. Didn't want to witness the sweep. And I sold them before the series started.devildeac wrote:Hey, your (new) team's gotta hit the ball. Re: Roy Halladay
Oh and Utley wasn't hit by that pitch. While seemingly not a large event in the game, that began the end for the Reds last night. The Phillies are a better team but it shouldn't have gone down last night like it did.
