Cathy, I'll either drive to G'ville tomorrow if I have time or meet you Saturday in Durham with your pass.

We'll bring 'em and grill 'em in October or November. ;)
They'll taste good with some fall ales. ;) ;)

FTR, Bison has less fat and cholesterol than a boneless, skinless chicken breast! And because it's bison (grass-fed) and ground off-site of the abattoir, there's virtually no risk of e coli so you can go "as rare as you dare".
Now, once you add the chipotle/garlic mayo, chili, cheese, bacon and coleslaw. Well, then sh*t! Nobody gets off the planet alive. ;)

I knew bison had less fat/cholesterol than regular beef but did not realize the fact about the chicken. You are indeed the Count of the Charcoal.TNTDevil wrote:I resemble that remark!devildeac wrote:Yea, looks like TNT has the cholesterol count pretty well covered.CameronBornAndBred wrote: You're leaving the brats at home?!

I'll have mine medium with a slice of cheese and a few dabs of ketchup and mustard. I'll have my all beef wienie with chili and slaw and a dab or 2 of mustard.

The Weather Channel is only calling for 93 in Derm on Saturday.
If it were anyone but Army in that weather, I would suggest we might have a conditioning advantage, but I expect our opponents will be in really good shape.

I'm pretty sure the weather is par for the course. It's September..just count on being crispy crittered until after mid October. I was beyond cooked at the Navy game last year.

Bison? As in buffalo? As in, "Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam, where the deer and the antelope play?"

All four of our are available if you know anyone else who needs them. Proceeds, if any, go into our Brunchgate funds pool (see TNT's menu thread).

Well, yes and no. The buffalo we're eating no longer roams, but the deer and the antelope are still at large!CathyCA wrote:Bison? As in buffalo? As in, "Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam, where the deer and the antelope play?"

It's similar to very lean beef. (The burgers are better than the steak, IMHO.)

Next time you're in Durham stop by Ted's (Turner) Montana Grill
http://www.tedsmontanagrill.com/
Their bison pot roast and bison meat loaf are my favorites.
Best of all, there's a huge mounted bison head on the wall over the kitchen door that watches you while you eat it.

It looks like I'll need two for my in-laws who are coming this weekend. I'd prefer to pay GA prices. I sent a PM to ** a few minutes ago.
