The Coca-Cola 600 gets moved to Monday Noon.

Too much rain today.

I'm wondering if there's a real safety issue here that will result in a very sudden vacation for the current Sprint Cup points leader. I mean, how quickly can he get out of the car now, assuming there was some awful wreck? Given that we don't have an off week now for like, forever, I would think Gordon is going to have to miss a race or two.

You know, now that Martin is staying with Hendrick another year, I am beginning to think that this may, in fact, be Gordon's last year. Perhaps Hendrick makes a move for full-time status of Keselowski?

During the rain delay yesterday, Jaws and the rest of the Fox team discussed the upcoming STATE OF NASCAR meeting for all drivers and owners.

I can't recall such a meeting, mid-season, in like, forever (if ever). What's going on? Here's the ESPN report about the meeting:

If they make it to 200 laps before this evening, it will be amazing.

In other news, Scott Riggs races today, but then leaves his team after today.

Guess I better take him off the C list entries now, before I leave.

This race was anticlimactic. An AWFUL last race for me for the next 11 weeks or so. #-o :-q :-q

AWFUL ending. :-q :-q FWIW, I won DBR Nascar this week, but I thought this race ended HORRIBLY. As they went into the final yellow/red, Kahne almost caught Kyle Busch (shortly after Busch brushed the wall). Then it all became a matter of who was gambling on not taking a pit stop.

Umm... Dale Jr needs to do something, but QUICKLY!! That was perhaps the worst racing I have ever seen from him.

One Further Note: This is a tough fantasy league. After today's race, I am now in the 5001st spot out of 60,000 fantasy league players. They say I am in the 98th percentile. Beats me how that calculates. All I know is that I am 200 pts out of the top 50, but Ymo and colchar are much closer to me than that. And Tilly, Reigning Princess of Nascar, is warming up for one of her patented charges. And Miles ... And Knights ...

Why didn't BONE select any drivers this week? :?:

You mean, no going to the pits 10 laps into the race just to be in the lead when everyone else pitted? :-o

You mean, no loose lugnuts? :-o

You mean, Jr. might start racing inside of the outside groove? :-o

Yeah, it's about time. #:-s

I read a report the other day that a crew chief does what he can to a car based on info the driver gives him. If Jr isn't giving accurate info, the crew chief can't fix the actual problem. It will be interesting to see how this works in the coming weeks.

Spoke too soon, JJ wins it with some awesome driving at the end...

I had him also, but didn't do very well overall.

True, I did speak too soon.

I had him also, but didn't do very well overall.

My drivers finished 1st, 20th, 21st, and 36th this week which isn't a great performance.
