I'd like to see the book "Tropic Thunder" made into a movie.

It's a great series of kid books by Dav Pilkey. Check them out!

I thought the same thing Lavabe, then I watched the preview last night and all makes sense. It's done in a documentary style like "Supersize Me"; Morgan Spurlock will also narrate if I'm not mistaken. I could watch the movie right now before it hit's theaters, but I just don't want to pay $11 to see it. I'll be happy to wait until it's live streaming through Netflix.

The Stephanie Plum books (by Janet Evanovich). The early books are hilarious. The more recent ones aren't as funny.

I'm listening through a series of books by Jim Butcher, called "The Dresden Files." They made it into a TV show, which was terrible, I think they could do better with a full-length feature film.

I'd also love to see what James Cameron could do with "Enders Game."

The Harry Dresden novels are my favorite series right now. I'm on pins and needles every time they come out with a new one. You're right, though, the series was an abomination. The apartment was ALL wrong, Bob was all wrong, the replacement of the VW with that awful jeep was a travesty, and that doesn't even get into the awful casting.

Ender's Game would be awesome if they could do it right.

James Marsters (Spike, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) does the reading on the audiobooks, and he's excellent. Tho' it's a bit disconcerting when he gives Bob a British accent, as Bob then sounds just like Spike.

Has Clive Cussler's books ever been made into movies?

Sahara - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0318649/

Colossal box office failure combined with ridiculous over-spending -- it was about $100Million in the red.

Ah! Good catch, thanks. I had forgotten about that one. I don't think it got very good reviews, but I like the few books of his I've read.
