I have a signed offer to purchase and contract!
Some of you may know that I've been house hunting. I found a lovely little house back in February and placed an offer on it. The sellers, for a variety of reasons, none related to me or anything I've done, have hemmed and hawed around, and haven't accepted my offer. The sellers FINALLY signed the offer to purchase and contract yesterday. I picked up my copy of the contract today and I'm taking it to my banker on Monday. We're closing on August 17, and I will finally be reunited with my furniture and stuff, after living out of a suitcase or 5 for the past 427 days (but who's counting?).

Congrats Cathy! Just remember when you are looking at all those sparse walls who to talk to .
The house looks great, I vote for a Duke blue kitchen table. And I vote for bunchanumber's serving up some fun somethingtinis for the house warming.

Awesome, congrats. We're so happy for you. Now I know where to crash when I'm in town! ;)
I've seen this before. They were probably hemming and hawing because they were hoping for a better offer in this market. They probably finally ran out of time, or saw the writing on the wall that nothing better was coming down the line. Good for you for sticking it out if that's the one you REALLY wanted. ;)

Congrats, indeed. It's really a phenomenal house.
Does it have a couch for wayward graduate students/ECU alumni who find themselves in town for a football game? ;)

No, I'm not going to miss the suitcases. I can't wait to put all of my clothes away in my closet and dressers. And my stuff! I can't wait to see my stuff again!knights68 wrote:WOW, awesome kitchen and great pics! Congrats!!! The kitchen is small--it's a galley kitchen (see picture #5). I think what you're looking at with all of the glass cabinets is the wet bar in the sunroom (see picture #3).
