Full inbox

Post by CameronBornAndBred » September 3rd, 2010, 12:45 am

Ack...sorry..I got a few PM's today that I was wondering where they went. My inbox was full. I also know that others have had this issue...I'm working on increasing the size. Anyways..if you sent me a PM, send it again, I don't know where they go when I'm full, but apparently they don't come back to me after I've lost weight.

I had to clear my full in box to read your last PM to me. When you delete messages, you then have to click on the blue line near the top that says - crap, I don't remember exactly what it says. Something like Do you want to read the held PM's? Click on that and the held PM's are delivered to your in box.

Brilliant!

Good 'ol Oz accidentally introduces what I think would make for a most useful and interesting thread- "How-To's, Tips, Tricks & Quirks".

Might help those less technically inclined to become better indoctrin... er... educated  , on the intricacies of the Boards & Section 21.

What say ye?

Ozzie is correct. The link is something along the lines of 'release private messages' or something like that.

So go delete stuff from your inbox then click that link and the new PMs will be there.

Yeah, and just in case you still care, you have to do something similar OY too.

I'm looking all over and I don't see where you're talking about. Post a screen shot.

I suck at taking screenshots and it always turns out to be a pain in the ass. Besides, you only see that if your mailbox is full, you have some waiting, and you've just deleted some to make room for the new ones. See the top left where it says your mailbox ix X percent full> IIRC, the message will appear there once you've deleted enough to make room for the new ones.

Me or CB&B?

I just checked and you obviously meant me. I tried to log in and got the same message I did when I was banned. Here it is:

"You have been banned for the following reason:
Due to your history of impolite posting, your negative attitude, and your expressed disdain for the DBR, you are no longer welcome to post here.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never"

I saw the notification of a PM (or PMs) waiting but, when I tried to access them, I couldn't and the banned message just kept reappearing. I take it the message wasn't anything important?

Probably a response to me telling him to get fucked.
