Vibes for the newbie

Post by bluebutton » September 1st, 2010, 9:43 pm

I know I'm new here but was wondering if I could get some vibes for a doc visit tomorrow. Been having intermittent gut pain for the past 2 months and eating "better" has only marginally helped. It's been getting worse. Hopefully, it'll be something clear cut and easy to take care of.

Wishing for you an easy diagnosis and easy fix. I'm very sympathetic because I've experienced something like what you've described.

Y'all's vibes are AMAZING:

So the doc thinks I'm chewing too much gum -- yep. Too much gum. I chew gum when I have a writing deadline and I've had a couple this summer. Apparently, just like in an episode of House, my body isn't handling the sorbitol in gum. So I'm supposed to quit chewing gum, walk more/sit less, and eat more fiber. Can do.

Thanks for the vibes and prayers -- hoping this is as easy as it sounds and my gut returns to normal soon.
:ymhug: :ymhug: ^:)^ ^:)^

AC news: The AC system is running great and the heat is beginning to taper although people here need to stop calling 94 dgr a cold front. I need to make a few follow up calls, but we're living the cool life.

Yuck! Artificial sweeteners.

I'm glad the problem was as simple as eliminating gum from your routine.
