Slight setback today. After resting in bed all day, she got up about 4 pm and went down stairs. Her left calf started hurting and veins in the lower leg were swollen. After talking with her doctor's office (he wasn't in) and our local doctor's office, she went to the emergency room to get an ultrasound to make sure she didn't have a blood clot. It took hours, but she did and she doesn't. We (DD and 2 other doctors not involved in her treatment) think maybe her calcium level had dropped and she got leg cramps - but what about the swollen veins? We don't know, and her calcium level, 3 hours after taking her calcium supplement, was fine. Anyway, we're home. Time for bed!

Now that is good news. Thanks for the update. We got in late last PM so I didn't call.
