Would you Want Ted Williams' Head as a Collector's Item?
So a friend and I were talking and the topic of Ted Williams' head came up. As most of you know, while his body was cremated, his head remains frozen and cracked in some kind of Crock-Pot.
Anyway, if the owners of the head decided to part with it, and offered to take it to a taxidermist for "stuffing," and then put it up for sale on e-Bay or Craig's list, would you bid? What do you think Ted's head would sale for?
The only rule is that if you buy it, you CANNOT re-sale it. It's yours.
Vote, Discuss.

Take it to the taxidermist, stuff it and mount it on the wall perhaps? It'd also make a pretty cool base of a table lamp.

I'd put it in my office as a reminder to defense attorneys that I take no prisoners, and really am the "BITCH PROSECUTOR FROM HELL." (Yes, I got called that in a Martinsville pizza restaurant once, which was one reason I moved as far out of Mville as I could stand to drive.)

I spent 7 weeks of the summer of 1969 at the Ted Williams Baseball Camp. Never saw the man once the whole time. As much as I love a little head, I want no part of his.

If I'm ever coming through your neck of the woods and get busted for a traffic violation of some sort (hardly outside the realm of possibility would you be as mean to me? Or any of us?

I'm really not that mean, honestly. I try to be fair with defendants, and try to be easy to work with as far as defense attorneys and courts are concerned. I have no idea why the person in the restaurant referred to me in that manner.colchar wrote:lawgrad91 wrote:I'd put it in my office as a reminder to defense attorneys that I take no prisoners, and really am the "BITCH PROSECUTOR FROM HELL." Due, I do not want to even joke about you assisting Ozzie when it comes to a little head.

Fair enough. For the record, I would expect you to cut a fellow CTNer a break.

Re: Would you Want Ted Williams' Head as a Collector's Item?
I would, if I knew a defendant was a member of CTN. I may not know, though; I don't know a lot of real names. Brunchgate should help with that, though.colchar wrote:lawgrad91 wrote: I'm really not that mean, honestly. I doubt too many CTN'ers would be in Henry County, VA, anyway. Captmojo brings cars sometimes, and maybe people go to the Martinsville Speedway. Other than that, I don't expect much of an influx.
