Y'all's vibes are powerful things!

The surgery went well and did what it was supposed to do! If she wants to, she can go home this afternoon rather than stay overnight. Will advise later. She is in the recovery room for another hour, then they'll move her to the SPRU, which is a lower level recovery room for a few hours. Won't move her to a real room unless she wants to stay overnight.

I think Dr. Faust goes to my church in Raleigh. (Well, it's not my church any more, but it's the church we attended when we lived there.)

Oh, now I get it, thank you DinK. In my line of work, when someone sounds concerned about a doctor, I think malpractice. It's a hazard in this business, but I love what I do and put up with these minor misunderstandings.

DinK, that is what I was thinking. I am sure Dr. Faust is a fine surgeon. The name was just a bit surprising.

Time to go harrass, err, pay a visit to Mrs. Ozzie now. With small needle in hand.

She looked at the big needle and syringe and said "What are THOSE for?"

Still waiting for room in the SPRU. Dr. Emery (that's DD to some of you) came by to visit and took me back to see her in recovery about 1:00. The nurse there said they are sending her home today after 3 pm, unless there is a change. Beth looked good and was alert. She didn't know, until then, that she was going home today.

I offered her a small blood-letting, a large one or a heart cath. She chose option D, none of the above. And no, we DON'T need a poll for that.

Wow! I get busy for half a day and come back to all this action!!!! Vibes still coming for Baby Ruth's grandmother for a quick recovery and speedy return to the spoiling routine we all love! I know you'll be more comfy at home with that cute live-in male nurse you have on duty!
