I'm sure if a few of us were committed to that goal we could go on a PWing binge that would see us fly right past 25K in no time!

Pardon a newbie question, but what does PW stand for or represent?

PW = Post Whore or in this case Post Whoring
Basically, gratuitous posting of items/thoughts/ideas often of specious value for the sake of increasing posts counts.
In internet lingo, it's not an old term, but it has been around a few years.
Urban Dictionary lists the following:
1) A person that spams pointless chatters in forums.
2) A person that wants to achieve a high status (in forums) as quickly as possible.
It of course does have other meanings, some of which I won't repeat even here.

You know what would be the greatest PWing achievement in the history of CTN? Having the last post in every single thread ever created here!!!
It would take some work and would have to be done late at night when nobody else was posting but I think one of us could pull it off. I've run the entire front page on a couple of occasions but wonder if I could pull accomplish this? In order not to screw up the order of threads you'd have to start at the oldest thread and work back to the most recent ones so that, when you were done, the front page would look more or less the same as it is now but I think it would be one hell of a challenge - especially if every post had to relate to the thread in some way rather than just being random crap.
ETA: I just checked and there are 1832 threads right now. Wow, pulling this off would take the mother of all PWing binges!

Hahahahaha, it would be a monumental undertaking. And better to do it sooner rather than later.

Hmmm. I'm wondering how late I feel like being up tonight?
Do I win a prize if I accomplish this?

Great minds think alike, CB&B. I was just about to say this.
I could have refrained from mentioning this since you already said it, but if we're going to get up over 25K, people need to PW, and far be it from me not to take such an opportunity.
