Breaking down Maryland (Duke's 5th Opponent)

Post by wolfpackdevil » August 18th, 2010, 5:40 pm

Sorry this post was a few days late dew to my busy schedule. This is a link to the Maryland preview which is also on the front page.

http://crazietalk.net/blog1.php/2010/08 ... h-opponent

I will be posting my Miami preview in the next day or two as I try to get back on schedule!

Nice preview. Do you intend to update your thoughts the week before each game? A lot of things change such as injuries, unexpected developments, etc...

The 17-13 win last season would've been 24-13 if Thad Lewis hadn't fumbled inside the two yard line on one drive. Conference road games are always tough but I believe we take it to the Terps for a second straight year. Duke 31 - Maryland 17.

Yes I will try to update these previews closer to the actual game. I am only doing these to pass time up to the opener against Elon, and briefly shed some info on Duke's opponents.

Ah shit. I've got it backed up, but it's an database file...trying to figure out how to import it, but I don't have my hopes up.

How the *&^% can you take a delay of game penalty with 1st and 10 at the md 33 with about 2:00 left in the game and you got 2 %$&^ing TO left? Who was on the side lines, roy williams?

**, were you watching on espn3? IIRC they thought Renfree got the play off in time.

No. We have TWC but they don't add 3 until the end of the month. I guess another shitty call by the same &^%$ers who had more reviewed plays than I have ever seen and apparently still got 1 or 2 of them wrong. X( X(

The espn3 guys also thought MD should've gotten the ball on the 1 foot line on the interception. That was one of their many reviews, and they kept it on the 20 after jabba slipped them some money. At least, that was my interpretation of the nice, long conversation that the refs had with him. Maybe they were making plans to meet after the game for pizza and beer.

And you KNOW jabba has the inside scoop on the best pizza and beer, or at least the MOST pizza and beer.
