I just clicked my way to the box score on ESPN and started jumping up and down rapidly. Right now Thad is 11/14 for 120 yards and a touchdown. he did throw an interception, but that is not a huge deal. Since Thad got the reps as the second-string quarterback he might be on his way to a spot on the team.

UM wow Thad played great! That was way fun to watch. He should have had 2 TD's, but for some reason they ruled his second with the runner after the catch OB. Damn ACC refs!

He comes in with a great work ethic and a Duke career spent as a wrecking machine, recording 330 tackles -- including 28 tackles-for-loss -- during his three-year starting career. Dude has a nose for the football. His 13 preseason tackles ranks second behind Geno Atkins, most of which have come during passing plays and on special teams. He has largely impressed Marvin Lewis, who will have to debate how many linebackers he's going to take into the regular season.

And what Lewis, an undrafted rookie out of Duke, is doing is putting some heat on Null, the Rams' sixth-round draft pick a year ago who because of injuries wound up starting the final four games of the 2009 season.

I hate to pull against anyone (tarholes excepted), but I'm glad to hear from you about the INT. When I saw the gamecast on ESPN.com, Null was 5 for 5.
