Oh, the dodgers hacked/gacked up a 9-2 lead in the 8th inning and lost in the bottom of the ninth, 9-10.
Wonder if the Phils were the beneficiaries of any more blown calls.
Acutally, yes - though as someone viewing the game, you HAVE to pin this one on the Dodgers. In both the eight and ninth innings, there were several pitches from L.A. pitchers that looked right down the middle. Each was called a ball. At one point, the Dodgers' catcher just stood in disbelief. After three walks in a row in the ninth, and L.A. up by three, a double play ball was hit to Blake at third. Right at him. It went right between his legs.
Next guy got a bases-clearing, game ending double.
As horribly as the Dodgers played, watch them come into Atlanta tonight and pitch like Sigh Yung.

Braves win, 1-0, on a masterful performance by Hudson and a not-blown save by Wagner.
Phils lose, 0-1, to the Mutts.
A good evening.

LOL. You are most correct.
Before you even posted this, I was telling FordGirl how "sloppy" of a job I did. But in a way, I thought that made it better (seriously). Maybe I was wrong, but personally I like the fact it looks like vandals got a hold off it. It took me about 30 seconds to do that!
Come on, give me at least 6.5 points for creativity! DAMN Honkey!

Kind of funny, Braves fans making fun of the Phillies. You would have thought the Braves had done something in the last few years.

Hudson is having an incredible year(1.07 WHIP, 89Ks), but Wainwright has been better and is a more dominating pitcher(17-6, 1.99 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, 158 Ks).

Braves fans never booed Mike Schmidt or Santa Claus ;)
. (full disclosure: I grew up about 15 miles from center city Philadelphia and have been a lifetime, LONG-SUFFERING Philadelphia sports fan, so I still follow most of their sports teams)

Our football team is better.
Our basketball team is better.
And both teh Phillies and Braves share one World Series championship in the past 15 years.
Oh, and this winter, we will have won a Superbowl too!
-EarlJam
P.S. In sincerity, yes, the Phillies are better than the Braves (or at least they are sexier on paper). But we have the one thing they don't: BROOKS CONRAD!!!!

Well, to be honest, my whole "it looks better that way" was a bunch of BS. Plus, I was wasted (kidding.............sort of).
