I'm assuming this was in response to Cliff the spammer. I'd delete the thread...but then I'd rob DD of his PW opportunity.devildeac wrote:Oh, I can't wait for our board administrator to see this one.

Re: caffeine content soft drinks
The mods voted to remove this thread...and poor old DD's post with it. That's probably a good idea..but then again I sort of like the title of the thread. I also like Mountain Dew. That's got some serious caffeine in it. One year at an early Brunchgate, Monster sent around a truck with free drinks, I tried one but didn't like it. What do y'all drink?
This should be turned into a poll..paging EarlJam.

We are...I said I like Mountain Dew...it has highest caffeine/sugar content of regular softdrinks.devildeac wrote:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!CameronBornAndBred wrote:The mods voted to remove this thread...and poor old DD's post with it. If you can find Pepsi Max, try that. Even higher amount than MD.CameronBornAndBred wrote:We are...I said I like Mountain Dew...it has highest caffeine/sugar content of regular softdrinks.devildeac wrote:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!CameronBornAndBred wrote:The mods voted to remove this thread...and poor old DD's post with it. Yeah, but that would include decaffienated diet sodas. Blecch.Lavabe wrote:Umm... need I remind you of threads like this:

Speaking of which I'm drinking a Boylan's Root Beer made from real cane sugar. The only way it would be better would be if it had some caffeine.

Re: caffeine content soft drinks
I love root beer, but one of the reasons I drink it is because of no caffeine. My coworker just got off caffeinated sodas..he was drinking a couple an hour. He said the first couple days were real bad..I guess like quitting smoking. He says the cravings are less now, but he still thinks about having one all the time.DukeUsul wrote:Speaking of which I'm drinking a Boylan's Root Beer made from real cane sugar. Re: caffeine content soft drinks
Diet Mountain Dew is my first choice, followed by Diet Coke and Diet Sunkist. All mine are diet drinks since I'm a diabetic so lay off.
It's my understanding that if you go to places like Compare Foods you can get Coke and Pepsi products imported from Mexico and made with real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.

Costco also had Coke from Mexico available in Greensboro.
I love regular Coke and Sprite but almost never drink sodas. The diet ones give me headaches and I would rather eat my calories than drink them, unless I have a glass of wine.

I'm with lawgrad, I just don't get into sodas that much. I'll stick with Guinness (my favorite low calorie beverage).
I don't enjoy Monster, Red Bull, or any of those energy drinks. Just give me a cup of coffee to get things kick started and then I'm usually good to go. If I need to sleep, I listen to my body and try my best to avoid energy drinks.
