What are your Two Favorite Scenes from Animal House?
Too good of a movie not to allow two choices!
By the way, as an aside, Mrs. Wormer was smokin' in that movie!

I picked food fight and other. My favorite scene was Belushi asking "What am I" followed by him demonstrating that he was a zit.
Duke born, Duke bred, cooking on a grill so I'm tailgate fed.

Dude, isn't "what am I" the beginning of the food fight?CameronBornAndBred wrote:Done.EarlJam wrote:Dang. I forgot to click the "Pick Two" option.

I picked two, but honestly, that whole movie is just one huge great scene. There are so many, it's almost impossible to pick.

It's been a while, but I think so..I've always cherished the zit thing as it's own unique moment, so I separate them.bjornolf wrote:Dude, isn't "what am I" the beginning of the food fight?CameronBornAndBred wrote:Done.EarlJam wrote:Dang. I forgot to click the "Pick Two" option.

Agreed, in that movie, there are so many "moments within moments." For instance...CameronBornAndBred wrote: It's been a while, but I think so..I've always cherished the zit thing as it's own unique moment, so I separate them.
-when Belushi screams at the first site of Flounder on the screen
-Mrs. Wormer coming home drunk after a night with "Otter?"
-Boone's comment after the frat's scolding, "Well! That was pleasent!...."
-The Deathmobile!
-The "Eat Me" Cake
-"Can I buy some pot from you?"

It's difficult to pick just a single scene or two. The whole movie reminds me of Kappa Alpha Order back in the sixties. I enjoy the scene in the "black and tan" club..... reminds me of La Petite Birdland in Durham. The band even looks like "String Bean" and his crew.

We went to a Toga party in 1978 or so when we lived in Winston Salem. That's all I'm going to say about that.Lavabe wrote:"You MOW-RON" came immediately before the "Germans at Pearl Harbor."

I like the secret mission scene, specifically when Belushi is sneaking up to Dean Wormer's office. Ninja tactics were completely unnecessary, but very welcome.
That said, I still haven't voted. Hard to decide my two favorite scenes.

I think that's included as all part of "Flounder and the Horse". At least that's why I voted for that scene.Miles wrote:I like the secret mission scene, specifically when Belushi is sneaking up to Dean Wormer's office. Ninja tactics were completely unnecessary, but very welcome.

It's a partial quote. Hint: It's part of a scene discussing the academic performance of their fraternity during the prior semester.bjornolf wrote:I don't get it.devildeac wrote:0.0bjornolf wrote: I think that's included as all part of "Flounder and the Horse".
