We're #10, we're #10!

Yes, NC residents have yet another reason to be proud. We are #10 in the nation on the obesity chart with a whopping 29.4% of our residents tormenting our scales with our girth. I believe we moved up from #11 last year so we have certaily plowed our way through many a buffet at the Golden Corral and Sweet Tomatoes and feasted on far too many 'cue platters from our local BBQ favorites. BTW, I believe we also have about 35-36% of our residents also labeled as overweight, so that gives us a staggering # of about 65% who are either overweight or obese. Keep those calories coming. :burger: :pizza: :chicken: :waffle: :chocolate: :dinner: :spork: :ice cream: :pepsi:  :burger: :pizza: :chicken: :waffle: :chocolate: :dinner: :spork: :ice cream: :pepsi:

Highly likely there is a correlation in there somewhere. We were rated pretty high in cancer, heart & heart surgery, and pulmonology. Probably because of the bright leaf. It's what keeps us in business, as well as McDonalds, Burger King, etc.

IIRC, the Duke Endowment was based on the Duke's earnings in tobacco. Thus the university and medical center truly are associated with tobacco. So, in more ways than one, Duke the university and medical center, has benefited from the bright leaf.

My guess is that Georgia is #1 and Kentucky is #3, but that's just guesswork.
